Are you tired of church as usual?

I know so many of the people I talk to on a daily basis are over the mundane repetition and predictability of Church services on Sunday. While it may seem like I am starting this Carb Boost off on a low note - I want to encourage you of a few things.. If you are feeling this way you are not alone AND there is a remedy!

In order to tell you this remedy I need to spin some things on their head for just a moment.

Church is not meant to meet our deep needs in the Spirit.

Clocking in and out to a pew checks a box - but God is asking for our heart every day.

You are feeling like Church isn't meeting your needs -- because it isn't. Because it was not designed to.

Your relationship with God must be daily, and then Church comes in as an added bonus to equip the saints to win the lost, and bless and encourage us to live out loud for Christ daily. When we gather together with other believers we are strengthened and encouraged. But we are not feed the deep things of the spirit from watching a preacher on a pulpit.

We must access the deep place, we must encounter God every day, in our homes, in our cars, and in our workplace.

I love Chapter 47 in Ezekiel where the Spirit of God is showing Ezekiel a vision of the waters in the temple. And he leads him to a place that he can no longer walk, he can only swim.

Did you catch that?

Ezekiel had to let go of every ounce of hesitation and let the spirit lead and flow.

This is the type of surrender the Lord is asking us for every day.

This type of walk with the Lord is not hard or complicated.

It actually boosts us, and allows us to live in the flow of heaven like we were designed to live.

The word tells us that Christ is our daily bread. Not our weekly bread.

Taste and See that He is Good!

One Way to Do it -- Find a quiet corner in your house and sit with your Bible. Pray and ask the Lord to guide you today. Ask him to speak to you and lead you. Ask for forgiveness for any sin (known or unknown) and thank Him for forgiving you. Ask for wisdom and understanding as you read the word and crack open the book of Psalms or Proverbs. Read the chapter that corresponds with the number day. (for example today is the 28th so I'd read chapters 28 - also linked here)

it's going to be a good day!

Dive in to the deep place daily - It's the best place to be.
