The Violent

This Bible Verse from Matthew 11:12 has rang over and over in my spirit for the last 15 years - legit. Ever since I surrendered to the Lord I have heard echoing in my spirit from time to time "The Kingdom Suffereth Violence, but the Violent take it by force..."

But what does that even mean? And what does that mean for you today?

When you are advancing the Kingdom of Heaven, you WILL be met with resistance.

But.

You can overcome when you continue to press forward.

Let's break this down --

The Kingdom (you and I)

suffereth (a continual fight)

violence (unkind opposition)

but the violent (determined Christians doing damage to the Kingdom of Hell) take it (receive the promises and take the land)

by force (by pressing back hell).

So, if you are feeling like you are fighting hell this morning - you are in good company.

We will never passively advance the Kingdom of Heaven on this Earth, period.

If you are determined for breakthrough, buckle up and press in.

Make your prayer closet the place you go to for comfort and guidance, not Facebook or the ear of your friend.

Dial in and go to the only one that can help you press back darkness.

You may be suffering violence, but you are going to take it by force.

Keep Stepping.
