Tuning our Ear

Remember those old dial radios? You had to get the dial in juussttt the right spot to hear the radio station clearly. If it was off just a smidge there was static over the station and it was difficult to discern what the radio DJ was actually playing.

This is the same type situation with our spiritual hearing.

We must tune our ears to the frequency of Heaven to make out the voice of the Master above the noise and static of this world.

We do this by watching our consumption.

"What is down in the well will come up in the bucket".

What are you putting before your eyes?

What are you listening to?

Do they agree with the Word of God? Or are you constantly feeding your spirit man static when it is desperate for the Word of God?

What does your intake of Daily Bread look like?

Read the word of God like your life depends on it, because it does.

No - it is not acts that get you saved. This is not a matter of salvation, this is a matter of sanctification.

This is what it looks like to commune with the Master, to pray continually, and to listen to the guidance of the Holy Ghost all day long.

God desires that we commune with him.

He desires relationship.

Let his words, his praise and his thoughts towards you fill the empty space of your day.

As you guard your intake, and close the door in the face of the enemy when he tries to derail you, you will find that the voice of your creator becomes louder and louder. And the static of this world is something you will rise above.

Activation -- Lord, help me today to drown our the noise of the enemy and this world and focus on your voice. Show me quickly when the enemy tries to plant lies, and help me to be disciplined in taking every thought captive. Help me to cast every single care on you throughout the day. I know you did not design me to live in chaos and anxiety. Today I will walk in your peace. Today I will tune my ear to the frequency of heaven. -Amen
